genting trip was awesome!! i didnt get to shop much though, because most of the time, the girls were looking at their stuff. i cant believe exactly a month ago, we were still taking A levels. life's really really great now.

well i should start from last fri. went over to alvin's house, then met yhih huua after her work at tpy and we headed to WTS for dim sum, somewhere at sims drive. the food was quite good, but it wasnt that fantastically-diedie-must try. maybe i'm too particular about food and everything, very hard to please. LOL. only a few was 4/5 standard for me. i've been craving for real good durians, but it was quite expensive. only 4 seeds in one durian and it cost me $14. heart pain.

after that, headed back to alvin's house and aa came over. the 4 of us watched dvds in alvin's house. it was real comfy, lying in his sofa and mattress. damn it, i dozed off after one movie, the second one must be good cos i heard screamings. haha.

then sat was preparation for genting/kl trip. they came over at night and i continued some last minute packing.

genting trip- went over to haunted house and ripley's believe it or not. actually i was little scared too. but i went there before the previous trip. and we went clubbing!!!!!!!!!!! was really worried sick about sam and yhih huua cos they were away for 50mins just to get a new set of battery for the cam. i couldnt dance for so long la, i stoned alone for close to 1hour while they continued dancing. i think i danced for only 45mins. and we left at 3am. it was for the experience, initially no one dared to dance at the dance floor, only when the crowd started to get in did everyone else followed suit. a pity we didnt get to the theme park due to time constraint.

KL- the meals there werent exactly cheap, though we are 2.4 times richer. money's flying away like crazy, didnt buy anything much and we spent like 700-800RM on average for the entire trip. first meal at genting was 100RM, then first meal at KL was no less cheaper.

its really hard to get taxi drivers who go by METER and sometimes to risk having 5 passengers in their taxi. the one who slammed the door at yhih huua was somehow rude, but i think his reaction was quite reasonable, because he cant make a living if he were to accept our "conditions." anyway its pretty cool interacting with taxi drivers because we get to know more about KL, the culture, tourist attractions and also their perspective on various issues etc.

visited many places, mostly shopping centres, wanted to get over to the bridge of petronas twin towers but tickets were fully given away. aquaria was quite fun, it was something like underwater world, i could relish my childhood times.

hmm bargaining was another good experience, but it's not really bargaining also. it's like they deliberately mark up prices for tourists, hoping that any tourist will be stupid enough to fall prey for their trap. u must give damn the wah so expensive face and be firm about walking away if the price isnt mutually agreeable. those who dont mind going for small profit margains will usually approach you when you walk away, a few would be flaring their temper, blabbering on how low we wanted the prices to be, and had the "please fuck off if u cant afford" kind of look.

at chinatown, we went for foot reflexology and half body massage, 50mins in all for 40RM. the feeling was damn shiok haha, it was done by china women. also did facial on the last day at berjaya times sq while the girls did manicure and pedicure. dont really like facial because its PAIN PAIN PAIN. its really pain until can cry if u guys hadnt tried before, because i had worst
experiences in singapore before entering sr, at faceofmanskincare.

luckily, this time there wasnt any professional extraction, or to put it across bluntly, "squeezing". i know that sounded a bit ermmmm ywck. it's abit early to reach a conclusion, but i guess the facial at MURAD was effective because my skin is like peeling right now?

the hotel at berjaya times square was really 5-star standard for service and amenities. the staff at the check in counter and concierge were friendly and approachable, there was also someone pressing the lift for us, and when our card key didnt work( because we needed to insert in before we could use the lift), the bellboy will react fast enough to help us with the card they carried with them.
we were also given early check in and free upgrade to brooklyn suite (family suite) which had 2 rooms inside and a common living room and small kitchen. there's no problem accomodating 10 people. the breakfast there was not good at all, not worth 42RM.

and throughout the trip, met some people. saw zhuo ying with her family i think, who was on the same bus as me, and i didnt even notice. saw shawn kwek with his guy friends from nan chiau
while queueing up for breakfast at berjaya times square. and on the return trip, saw a few other sr peeps with other peeps (which i dont know, but i know they're from sr) maybe sec sch friends or first 3 months class? its really such a small world. maybe malaysia's the cheapest to go on tour with friends and KL and genting are the more popular places and A's ended like only one month ago. but same place same time really abit too much of a coincidence. haha

wow, this's such a disorganised post. pictures will be up not so soon, including unglam ones. i miss the hotel!!
